Now I See

Throughout my journey of life, I have encountered people
who have used me
for money

and only money.

I have witnessed greed within their eyes and actions,
and the more I grow,

the more I know.


I see it as nature's way
in showing me who I might become

so I don't become.

And at the end,
I am left with only a few
treasured friends

but definitely until the end.
