Please Don't Get Fooled, People....

I feel so angry looking at so-called reliable shops that are selling the $24.99 Urban Original knee-high caged gladiator sandals for such an unreasonable price....

Let's start off with Bona Drag...hhmm....$54, which means twice the original price...and not mentioning the brand on the description is rather misleading, isn't it?
.

Then an even crazier shop is the Spanish Moss Vintage...still under the auction period, the price has been $152.50 already....woah!!! Please people, you can buy a way more valuable shoe at such a high price... Well I can't merely blame the shop as it is the bidders themselves who lack knowledge for the actual product...but for the shop to put it under the description of "one of a kind vintage piece that is only available in this Ebay store", is utterly mean and rubbish...please, go to UO's Ebay store and see how cheap and mass-made the products are...they ain't vintage!!!

Do carry out a mini research on the products you're gonna buy online...always...

Anyhow, some of you asked about my experience with the recently-bought sandals of mine...frankly speaking, they are very comfortable.... and as new shoes/sandals usually cause some irritation to our legs, this one didn't at all (lucky me!)...:) So I think it's worth a buy for those of you who are interested...just be careful, wearing them will attract people's attention as they will literally look at you from head to toe to head to toe...hahah...

I've noticed that alot of the people on ebay don't pay as much attention to try to spend no more than they need to.

hmm.. I don't get it.. what part of "animal friendly man-made leather" is false? because "animal friendly man-made leather" IS faux leather..

im so tempted to buy a pair...but i have a question. do the straps buckle up or are there those metal snaps? do they take a long time to put on/take off?

Hey! I stumbled along your blog and in all honesty was thinking... that your style was a bit... high fashion? (okay, for me personally maybe) BUT all I did next was to scroll a few pages and I was sold! Awesome digital sketches of like potential work works. Love the brown florals and the seriously preppy style you seem to carry off so easier. Love the measuring tape EVERYTHING (skirt/brooch) Ah, you're awesome. Okay. I wrote so much... just so that I can say this... I suddenly thought of something that will totally prep up your band tees. You know the stiff collars of business shirts? It looks like that just that it doesn't come with the remainder of the shirt. It's just the collar itself. It'll probably look real rad! I think it appeared on some fashion blog. It's called "collar cuffs" or something like that. Try searching for that. It'll be awesome. (Again, personal perspective) I hope you'll understand what I'm (vaguely) rambling about. Will try to find a picture but till then, I hope my description is good enough (: Maybe you can get your tailor to do one up for you!
I. Simply. Adore. Your. Style :D

very important point! i have been reading your blog for a little while now, and thought the ones on bona drag looked exactly like yours! it has really made me wary of buying things there, but then again, i probably never will because of the lack of information on sizes and i cannot be bothered emailing them!
anyway, i really like your blog :)

i'm tempted to buy into these but for something that's part of a trend, i would never pay that much! these super bidded ebay sellers bug me so much, why is their stuff so good! i bet it's rubbish in real life, the models just make it all cute!

gin: hi gin...lol...yours wud probably be the longest comment i've ever received hehhehe....thank you...:) about the collar cuffs, i've actually made a review on that, on ones from Forever 21...pairing them with band tees is such a great idea...thank you! :)

young: yeah...well i'm not trying to talk bad about a certain shop, just trying to inform people that we shud be more careful on spending our money online...thanks..:D

selinaoolala: lol....i think that way too...the models make it cuter than it actually is...;p

wow... reviews and research. it's like i never have to do my own homework ever again as long as i'm looking for the same stuff as you. lol... seriously though, it never occurred to me that it could be so expensive in other stores! how silly of me...

Good that you advice us all, though I'm not a firm believer of eBay, coz I never had a good experience. Perhaps you can turn me around?

thanks for the heads up. i was wondering who made that sandal on bona drag; i didn't realize it was the same manufacturer that you got yours from! at the worst, it's deceitful of BD, but on the less offensive side of the spectrum, it's just obnoxious to omit the brand.

i always do some mini-research as well! glad to see there are other savvy consumers out there.

The prices some people will pay for things on ebay is just insane. I feel sorry for them, when they're going to get a pair of shoes that aren't vintage like they expected.
