There’s this negative sentiment towards millennials where the society views them as lazy, spoiled, shallow, and most importanly, a joke to the corporate world because millennials seem to not understand how systems work.

But millennials were born into a world where everything was already so different. Everything was already digital and global and so fast-paced. How can we blame them? If our generation was the one who developed gadgets, softwares, AI and apps, aren’t we also the one who should be held responsible for how they might have affected the current youth’s behavior? Can’t we see that maybe, just maybe, those who developed Facebook, Instagram, Youtube and Snapchat didn’t realize the psychological effect these social digital platforms would have on the youth?

Instead of mocking millennials, we should help guide them. Think about it. 💖
