What?

If I were to be honest right now, almost nothing in my life is going as planned. A lot of things are just going bad, and never a week passes by without me crying at least once. I have been asking a lot of "why"s to Allah - why me, why him, why us, why this, why that? - but today got me thinking that perhaps changing my "why"s into "what"s would alter my perspective and perhaps make me feel better. So I decided to ask Allah differently. What are You trying to tell me? And what are You trying to teach me?

And now I know.

You are pretty ungrateful. You are now pregnant with your second child, rich enough to live in swiss, and happily married. Do you know how many people spent years trying to concieve and yet failed? How many people can't even afford a ticket to mudik? How many people argue everyday with their spouse? You are so ungrateful and it starting to get annoying

Dear Anonymous,

Thank you for your reminder. I might be asking many questions to my Creator, but it certainly does not mean that I am ungrateful to him. As human beings, it is very normal to have these questions inside your head, especially when tough times are around. Nevertheless, I am extremely grateful about life and what life has been giving me. I am blessed to be pregnant with my second child, to be able to experience living in Swiss, and to have a happy marriage. Alhamdulillah. There is more to life than all of this though, and of course, above all this, there are a lot of problems that me and my family are facing that you are definitely not aware of (and you don't need to be). My life may seem that everything sails smoothly at all times, but I sweat and bleed a lot too. So thank you and I hope this enlightens you to not judge others. Have a great day and God bless you..:)

xoxo,
Diana

All of your personal post like this make me realize that even someone that "seems" successful and happy in their life will always find something that "hurt" them. It makes you very relatable and motivate me to be grateful. Thank you for sharing your ups and downs in life through this platform. My prayers will always be with you and your family.

Cheers,

These kind of posts reminds me of why I love your blog, why after all this time, I'm always happy every time you have a new post up.You keep it real, you keep being you, and I love you for that. People have ups and downs no matter what they have in life, but you always get back up and face it like a champ. Be strong, Kak Di, for whatever happen in your life would have a reason. :)
