Four Days in Italy

Easter holiday is quite long over here in Europe, so hubby decided that we should spend the long weekend in...Italy! :)

We decided to go to two cities; Milan for shopping, and Bolzano specifically Val Di Funes to enjoy the breathtaking scenery of the valleys and mountains.

Milan was of course amazing for its high-end brands (and I definitely drooled in Prada and Miu Miu), but I personally felt that the city was rather chaotic and messy, especially with the crazy parking happening on every inch of the streets, and the vandalism that is happening on every single wall that it really turns you off from taking street pictures. Of course there are cleaner places, but just some. Or maybe it's just me heheheh. And they really stare at you uncomfortably. But food is cheap here! :)

My favorite in Milan was Via Della Spiga; a charming street to walk down and admire the shops in. Expensive brands, but it has this really nice vibe and good for window-shopping and a nice stroll. Another favorite of mine was 10 Corso Como; a shopping and dining complex which shows and sells works of art, fashion, music, design, cuisine and culture. The items they have here are highly curated and definitely feeds an artsy soul. And oh, Fondazione Prada is definitely a must-visit! It is an institution chaired by Miuccia Prada dedicated to showcasing contemporary art and culture.

On the nature side, Val Di Funes was ah-ma-zing. Surrounded by the fascinating and world-famous Dolomites, this valley is definitely one of those places you guys should have on your bucket list.

If you think Milan is chaotic, I think you will hate Rome because it's even messier than Milan, lol. Well, at least from my past experience back in 2012. Would love to visit Val Di Funes someday! :)
