Disneyland Hong Kong - Day 1
Remember my trip to Disneyland Hong Kong with my bestfriend, Dina? Finally got the chance to write more about it today...yayyyy! Shall we start? :)
For this trip, Dina and I spent 3 days 2 nights in total, and we actually spent our days only in Disneyland and not to other (shopping) spots hehehe..we stayed at Disney’s Hollywood Hotel and we loved it! The view from the room was sooooooo beautiful...and our room was so cute with all the "hidden Mickey" around! :)
I remember that when I was checking in, I was in the hotel lobby and I sneezed. The receptionist directly came and gave a me a pack of tissues. So nice, yes? :')
Room was super comfy and cute that Dina even carried home the toothbrush cup heheheh *oops*. And my God, internet here is really fast, y’all! Super envy.
Anyway, we actually arrived here very early in the morning, so we took a short nap...then had lunch! We took a shuttle bus to Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel (just 5 minutes away from our hotel) so we could eat at Crystal Lotus Restaurant which was located inside the hotel. This place has such a beaaauutiful castle-like ambience that made Dina and I felt like princesses hehehe. And the food was good too of course...:)
Steamed Vegetable Dumpling, Steamed Mushroom and Vegetable Dumpling, “Swan” Vegetarian Taro Puff
After lunch...Disneyland time! Too bad my camera ran out of battery as soon as we reached so not many pictures for Day 1...sigh...but I did make a video using my phone...yay! :)
The one you CANNOT miss while in the Disneyland Hong Kong: the Flights of Fantasy Parade!
This parade is sooooooo good that one cannot stop being amazed by the level of details they take on every level: costume, facial expression, stunts, dances, colors. Very eye-pleasing and heart-cheering! :)
Ended the night by having dinner at Corner Cafe, then watched the fireworks show...and seriously, this was the BEST fireworks I have ever seen my entire life...one word: magical! :)
Story about our second day to follow tomorrow...yay! :)

A Little Bit Of Talking
Allah is very kind, because He always makes me work so hard, fight and struggle to reach the things I dream of in life. I think Allah wants me to appreciate the joy of pursuing and reaching dreams in the most sincere and humble manner, because they don't come in an instant. They all need a long time, a long journey, a lot of thinking, a great deal of energy, patience and courage to achieve. Thank you, Allah...:')

I just got featured in a magazine, and I really didn't like some of the points they included. The points were artificial, and they touched an area of which I already asked the journalist to not disclose. Why do they do these kind of things? I already contacted them regarding this matter so they can clarify. I really dislike this kind of dishonesty.

People have been regularly asking me when S & I will have a baby...the answer is, "only God knows!". Pray for us, please? :)

Lately I have been noticing that "Anti-Bullying" has become an interesting topic to campaign for by several organizations, communities or brands. As much as I like the idea, I really hope they truly get what bullying is, how it really feels and how it affects the victims, and not just do this whole thing as a marketing strategy. I can boldly say that I was a bully victim back then, and it really, really hurts. Even thinking and talking about it again makes me cry..

Sometimes I re-evaluate the meaning of "friends". I just think that sometimes, the word can be used as a social mask to uplift our social status. Simply said, more (perceived) friends, the cooler one is. But deep in my heart, I can actually tell but not say out loudly, who my true friends are. My (real) friends are those who ask and listen to my daily stories and support me for whatever step I take, not those who just leave our friendship over one argument, or call me only if they need help in designing something. But when that applies, my friends-list book is so...thin.

Marry Merry Minnie
It's been a loooong, exhausting, somewhat heart-tearing weekend. The moment you expect for a restful long weekend, things will just come in your way and "ruin" your expectations. I guess we just have to have good control over our emotions, our expectations, and just face whatever comes. Nothing comes easy, but a positive, stable and well-composed mood sets things better. It's good to laugh even at your weakest moments. Life's funny, you know? :)
