Dear girls,

We are living in such a difficult, confusing era today. Everything is moving so fast, everything is connected, life is so busy online than it actually is offline. We spend so much time browsing online that we think online = life. And when we do, we start projecting our life through pictures. Supposedly perfect pictures. We want our life to appear so perfect in them pictures that we are willing to invest in the newest cameras just so we can snap the best photographs of our selves and our lives portrayed online. We decide to hit the gym because we think, our thighs look big in photos and we don't like that. We do so much contouring so our jaw line is more defined in pictures. We take such extra miles just to look perfect in pictures that we forget that exercising is for our health, not for pictures sake. We forget that makeup is supposed to be fun, not an obsession to look perfect.

Photographs are lovely, and looking good in photos is a nice satisfying feeling. But this should never make you love yourself less. It is okay to have chubby cheeks, you don't have to go for V-face treatments. You don't need plastic surgeries to make yourself picture-perfect and photographable from any angle. Love yourself for who you are and just work it. We are living in such a difficult, confusing era today. Do not get lost in it.

xoxo,
Diana

I really love this post. I agree so much. We forget about enjoying our life for real. We think that good pictures mean good life and struggle just for good pictures rather than good memories.
