It was a great year for #88lovelife, alhamdulillah. We hope this book will continue becoming your daily dose of inspiration in 2015 as well. Muah! :)

My Love, My Soul, My #UPheadquarters

As much as I love working from home, I have always wanted to set up an independent creative space where I can just separate myself from my daily chores and just "create". I am so blessed to be given the opportunity to finally have one; my very own office.

The company itself - the one that houses the brand "Up" - is called PT. BITDAS INDONESIA. In a way, it is my gift for my parents and in-laws as well, as the word "BITDAS" stands for each of our names.

• S - Sharjeel (my husband)

I guess that in everything I do, it always comes back to "giving back to my parents". May Allah always keep them safe and healthy always, and give them long age too. Amin..:)

Night Rambling

I've been going through my blog archive, browse through my old posts and writings, and all I can say is that I am proud of myself for sticking to who I really am. Blogging for more than 7 years can change you a lot, but I am glad that even though I have changed, I change in terms of maturity, not personality. My personality has remained the same, the way I blog has also stayed the same. I sometimes receive input about the way I blog, that I should change my layout to look more professional, buy a better camera or lens to produce higher quality photos (the twisted logic of  "the better the bokeh, the better blogger you are"), pose more elegantly - like a model  (but I'm not), find other interesting places to take pics, etc. But I don't, because that's just not who I am - and that is not my purpose of blogging. I am even comfortable with my blog domain which still uses .blogspot.com. I don't feel the need to put on makeup just for a blogpost. This blog is my diary, not something I sell and monetize. And I like to keep it natural. Even if I sponsor some brands, then that is just about it. I sponsor them without having to try so hard to adjust myself to the brand's image. Instead, the other way around.

I love myself.

Happy Birthday To Meeeeeee!

I can't believe I'm 30! OMG! I've always had this thing about the number 3-0, but turning into one today, I feel totally normal and (still) myself. So it's true, age is just a number, my friend. It's the soul that defines who you really are inside. And I choose to be forever 23.

Woke up to the best present eeevvvveerrr; my baby's sweet sweet smile, and a pair of Valentino heels from hubby. Too sweet of a gesture, too colorful of a pair. So happy..:)

Was having breakfast when my lil' sis, Intan, along with my Up and Pop Flats team surprised me with a birthday cake. Oh so sweeeeeeet. It really made my morning.

And of course, the many many birthday wishes on Whatsapp, Instagram, Facebook, Line. Thank you soooooo much! Amin to all your kind prayers and wishes.

Life has been very generous to me. Thank you so much, Allah.

I am so, so, so ever grateful to experience all this. I am not really a "writer", so to see my book up there, being the #1 bestseller book is just an amazing, surreal feeling. Thank you so much, readers. Your love and support is beyond what I could have ever asked for.
