Warm Colorful Bodies

Today I went to watch Warm Bodies, and sitting on my left inside the cinema were 3 young girls. During the movie, they kept on chatting and giggling and I found it very annoying, so I casually "ssshhhhhhh"ed them. They all looked at me and gave me a lottttt of attitude. Not only did they ignorantly continue their movie-irrelevant chat, the girl beside me started talking about me loudly. Things like "gosh, who's this girl sitting beside me? Asking us to shhhhh!" etc. She then took out her phone so that the screen light would disturb me, and not satisfied enough, she took out her iPad as well, and started singing. I stared at her with full confusion thinking how on earth can such a person exist, and she bravely enough said to me, "whattt? got a problem?". I shook my head and continued watching the movie and decided to not give a flying apple. But on the contrary, despite her (and their) extreme level of so-called "attitude", they left just before the movie ended, dark enough to slip away and not show their real faces. Real cowards.

My God, I really felt like snapping, but then I kept telling myself that once I've made a point, then my job is done. If they still wanna act insane, then insane it is cause it's not my loss anyway that they didn't get to watch the movie properly because they were too busy trying to annoy me further.

You see, when you make a mistake, you should simply acknowledge and apologize. Why extend it further? Being ill-mannered like that just isn't cool. Have class, people. Don't act trashy.

good for you! :) i recently read on a newspaper here that someone got thrown out of the cinema (here in Finland) because he annoyed other people while the movie was being played. apparently he was talking out loud and didn't care to stop it even when the others told him to quiet down. so yes, i guess these people exist around the world.

it was a good thing what you did to those girls sitting next to you, and also a good thing that you kept your cool so you weren't dragged down to the same level of "attitude" as them. ;)

Oh My God, why do those annoying girls want to watched movie if what they do were only chatting and giggling? I guess they were out of their mind.
And you did good, kak Di. For letting them played with her iPad and don't give a damn. It called, "Keep calm and watch movies" :))

What silly girls. They shouldn't have wasted their money going to the cinema if they weren't prepared to watch the movie properly.

The difference between a successful person and others is not a lack of strength, not a lack of knowledge, but rather in a lack of will

This happen almost the same with My Sister, she watched "The Impossible" next to a Man with his lil boy. And this boy keep asking a lot of thing to his dad with high voice and his dad answered with the same tone. Some people around him decided to move to sit way infront of them but My Sister kept asking him to be silent and you know what happen? This Man shouting at my sister and saying "We pay the same price, so I have rights to speak or do whatever I like in here, if you have a problem, feel free to leave!" Whoa.

These days, the one who do the wrong thing tends to be more "vocal" than those who do the right thing.

these days, hak dan kewajiban sudah banyak salah kaprahnya.
some people think if they pay, they have the right to do anything, which is disgusting.
gw pernah juga kejadian yang sama, ini di premiere lho ya, yang notabene gw pikir penontonnya banyakan movie lovers who were willing to pay more, so they would know the rule of being in the cinema and appreciate the movie more. ada satu keluarga, ngambil 4 kursi depan dan 2 kursi belakang dan bawa baby sitter pulak.
just like you, i "sshhh"ed them and the girl in the family who sat next to me (around 15 y/o) melototin gw kaya setan sambil ngoceh2.
yaelah, siapa yang salah, siapa yang marah. you can buy expensive tickets, but you certainly cant buy your attitude, it's given.
semoga yang dimaksud baca comment gw dan bisa perbaiki attitude sedikit (biarpun keliatannya kartu mati dah).
