I personally like the old version better. It's way more simple and I think it really describe your personality. I honestly don't like how your blog post is arranged on the left side, I do enjoy reading your blog post when the posts was on the center. And since my internet connection is not very fast, it took me a lot more time to view those graphic 'accessories' on your blog.
But I guess it is ok to have some make over, isn't it? This is just my personal opinion anyway :)
