ABCD.

Many people fail not because of their lack of knowledge, but because of their lack of communication skills. Therefore, I suggest schools to have "communication skills" as a compulsory subject.

Agreed!!
Most schools keep on preaching on the importance of reading and understanding the concept of this and that but they ignore this. Whereas nowadays when we look out for a job employers prefer the applicant to have a good communication skills. And in Jakarta most private institution that offer this course/subject will cost you big money.

I'm in communications class at my school. Its required if your in business academy. In America, all high schools have special academys for what you want to do later in life. And when you sign up for an academy, you have to take certain classes for it. To succeed in business, we need to communicate. I love that class too, we learn a lot.

Subject only teach you the theories (most of the time). being involve in organization(s) is the real practice for your communication skills. They should go hand in hand.

well it's not as easy as that.at school we were taught to obey teacher no matter what.hence created many students to feel oppressed and silenced thus not being able to communicate freely.see it's had been wrong at the beginning.

I just think communication shouldn't be a subject in school because we can't be successful comunicator by learning theory. It's about spending time from others to try thinking from his/her side.
