Happy and Sad Come in a Pair

Lately I've been feeling very empty...I'm out of fresh ideas, I haven't been watching any movies nor download any new songs, I just don't know what to do!! I feel like I'm losing a huge part of myself, probably becoz I don't have anyone to share or hang out with...I really miss my boyfriend, I really miss my lil' sis too... then the number of my best friends in Jakarta are starting to get less and less as most of them are one by one moving out, to another city and even other countries. Gosh. Weekend nowadays means going out with my family, or wandering around the mall all by myself... and that sucks. Dressing up is no more exciting as it used to be, even though I always try to just for the sake of entertaining myself.

Then my job is starting to eat up my time and energy more and more, that I tend to use my spare time for sleeping rather than doing what actually I love most; blogging, browsing, designing...

And so I cried while driving on my way home from Senayan City, alone.

If I always seem to be cheerful and colorful, well, I am happy, basically. But happy people do feel sad sometimes, don't they?

cheer up, love! I know what you mean, sometimes life just gets you down and you really feel like you are in despair. But I believe what goes down must come up, so you will definitely have a very good day soon just to balance out this unhappiness you are facing now. (:

I understand pretty much what you're going through, because I'm feeling the same way lately. Just to share one thought; every single thing happen for a reason, and so does this. Cheer up! :)

Oh and this saying always cheers me up. "Nankuru Naisa" means things will turn out well in the end, so don't worry too much about it :)

I totally get how that kind of stuff can affect a person, I don't have many girlfriends, and the ones I have are too busy, so I got used to shopping and doing things myself (not that I like it), although guys want to be my friends I don't like their company... :)
Don't know what I would do if I didn't have my bf.
Hang in there, it will be better!

heee.. lately, i felt "empty" too. dont know why. ahaks, but i think we are normal when we can feel all the feelings i.e. happy, sad, lonely, bored, etc. dont worry dear, everything will be ok (later) take care :)

sometimes I feel lonely and sad too even though I am usually happy. and I cry some nights because of it...it's weird though I would describe myself as a happy person, but I guess as you say, happy and sad come in a pair. I know when I worked in Philly by myself one summer I felt so lonely and I spent alot of time alone..and in the mall lol...but it will pass.

Deaar.. it's really ok to feel sad.. But just remember that happiness is always a decision. Just be thankful for all that you have. Life's much easier that way :)

cheer up girl! i lately have been feeling the blues too. maybe all you need to do is trying out a new thing. could be going out with your colleagues or joining in with a fashion/design forum, or it could be anything. i second what stephie said that what goes down must come up :)

Chin up, young person! You can't let sadness rule that pretty face of yours. This like anything else, shall pass...

*sends virtual hugs*

It's never nice, but occasionally you do get sad. Time works wonders I find.
Just think, you've got people all over the world that find you so interesting and amazing that they're checking out your blog just to see what you're wearing :) Not as good as being surronded by people in real-life, but I hope it makes you smile :)
